Artificial Lift

Refine Search

Artificial Lift is a process to make oil flow from an oil well to the surface. When reservoir pressure is not enough to push the oil to the surface artificial lift methods are employed to bring the oil to the surface. 95 % of the wells in the world need artificial lift operations to produce.

Varied types of artificial lift methods are used world wide depending on reservoir:

1. Sucker Rod Pumps

2. Hydraulic Pumping

3. Electric Submersible Pumps

4. Gas Lift

5. Progressing Cavity Pumps

6. Horizontal Surface Pumping Systems
